Stefanie Pruegel

Senior Associate

Stefanie has international experience in environmental communications in the private, public and non-profit sectors since 1996. She has worked on outreach campaigns covering a broad range of environmental topics, researched and written public outreach materials, planned and coordinated environmental events, and provided media relations services and project management. She also has extensive experience organizing and staffing outreach events. Prior to joining Gigantic Idea Studio in 2005, Stefanie worked as Assistant Public Outreach Coordinator for the City of San Francisco’s Recycling Program, helped plan large events such as World Environment Day and several Green Festivals, and coordinated public involvement projects for environmental consulting firm CirclePoint.

Stefanie holds a bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, Germany and a certificate in Sustainable Business Administration from the Green M.B.A. program at Dominican University of California. Stefanie completed advanced CBSM training with Doug McKenzie-Mohr in February 2015.
